Ace of Wands Hand Painted Mandala

Created by local artist and founder & creative director of the Country Storehouse, this original mandala was created as a reflection of center, connection, creativity, and the beauty of community gathering. Every layer was hand-painted with intention here in Trinity County and blessed by the waters of our sacred Trinity River.

The “Ace of Wands” Story

The journey of creating this mandala became a reflection of life itself, layered, unexpected, and deeply intentional. The deep red base was chosen to embody movement, purpose, and the fast-moving transformational energy of the Year of the Fire Horse.

While creating this piece, I focused on the energy of partnership, collaboration, and the unseen ways relationships shape our lives and help us grow into more open, connected, and visionary versions of ourselves.

As this mandala evolved, so did life around it. A new home and studio space emerged beside the Trinity River, a place whose waters are often woven into the creation of my work.

Inspired by the Ace of Wands in Tarot, this mandala carries the energy of inspiration, expansion, and the courage to move toward purpose, trusting that something beautiful can emerge seemingly out of nowhere.

This piece holds intention, transformation, and love. May the space it enters be blessed with all three.

About the Artist

Vidette Wakenda is the Founder & Creative Director of Country Storehouse, a creative wellness ecosystem rooted in art, nature, community, and the belief that meaningful connection can help restore both people and place.

Based in the mountains of Trinity County, her work weaves together hand-painted mandalas, immersive creative gatherings, storytelling, regenerative culture, and community-centered experiences designed to help people slow down, reconnect, and find center.

Through Country Storehouse, Vidette is cultivating more than artwork, she is building a living framework for creative wellness, rural connection, and inspired community life. The “Ace of Wands” mandala is part of this larger vision: art as invitation, gathering, and participation.

Welcome, Earth Angels… (Yes, that’s you. And here’s why….

At the Country Storehouse, we remember a simple truth: you are an angel in human form, a keyholder. A catalyst. You hold the power to unlock new realms of wellness and medicine, not only for yourself, but for the world.

You’ve arrived at the foundation, the fertile soil, of a movement that is both digital and physical. A sanctuary where nature, art, and soul meet in resonance. Here, we are restoring wellness to its original frequency: rooted in Spirit, sustained by community, and sovereign from systems that compromise truth.

To fully bring this vision into form, we invite your support, because, well, it takes a village to create one.

This is not a pitch for profit.
This is a call to fund the future of natural wellness.

The Country Storehouse operates on donation-based, private funding to maintain sacred integrity—free from creditors, investors, or agendas that dilute the purity of wisdom and mission. Every dollar received is poured directly into securing a permanent farm to grow our medicinal roots, building the Studio Sanctuary into a community gathering space, sustaining our virtual and in-person wellness spaces, and tending to the community that this mission will serve and support.

Our long-term vision includes a regenerating rural community, economy and wellness to a viable & sustainable framework to abundance, wellness, and sovereign living.
