Meet your hostess, Vidette…

Co-Creator of The Country Storehouse

What began as a personal quest to transform my own life has now bloomed into a living dream—The Country Storehouse.

I’m Vidette Wakenda—once known professionally as Vidette Vanderweide Mayer. After years of trying to fit into names and norms that never felt like home, I reclaimed the truth of who I am. “Vidette” comes from vedette, meaning "star" in French, and “Wakenda” honors a Native American Sun god. I walk as both Sun and Star—blazing, becoming, and guiding others to rise into their own brilliance.

For those who like to know the credentials before the cosmos…
I’m a published author, licensed hypnotherapist, award-winning speaker, and transformational advisor. My book, S.O.U.L. Mama ~ Seeing Only an Unlimited Life, tells the story of rebuilding a soul-aligned life after devastating loss. I’ve hosted shows like The Reinvention Channel, Vidette V TV, and The Daily Tune-In, and I’ve shared sacred space with voices like Panache Desai.

But now, I’m answering the next call:
To build a sanctuary where creativity, consciousness, and community meet. After earning my master's in the neurographic art-based naturopathic sciences, I founded The Country Storehouse—a dynamic space where we explore how creative practice activates clarity, balance, and multi-dimensional wellness, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, & physically leading to WHOLE-health and balanced-intelligence.

The Storehouse is more than a “place.” It’s a living, breathing field of study—a soul-centered invitation to rise, create, and re-connect with the deeper rhythms of nature and Self.
